Due to the nature of the Brougham & Vaux business model correlating closely to that of our Accountant Referral Partners, in 2011, Guy developed and formed the company RISE Standards Pty Ltd.
RISE Standards is a Limited Financial Services Authorisation that has been designed to assist Accountants to not only secure the Self Managed Super Fund arm of their businesses but also to support them to substantially grow and develop this area in the future. RISE Standards was developed to be an authentic accountant-specific advice model which would also provide a solution to legislative changes and also provide significantly greater scope for advice than the current exemption; enhancing an Accountant’s ability to provide more extensive support to their clients.
Guy’s role with RISE Standards since 2010, has been to build and grow this company by presenting to and recruiting new accountants (throughout Australia) to become authorised representatives of our AFSL. Guy’s role also includes conducting initial and ongoing training and management of these representatives. Guy also oversees and manages the financial planners from Brougham & Vaux, who are appointed to support the accountants in a technical capacity, as a referral source and from an overall practice development point of view.
